Assoc. Prof. Altuğ Günar

Altuğ Günar is an Associate Professor in International Relations at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University since 2018. He has numerous academic works, including articles, book chapters, book and book editorials in the field of the European Union. His main research areas are the European Union studies, International Relations and Economics, and Schumpeterian Economics. Dr. Gunar is currently Director of the Mediterranean Policy Applications and Research Center, and Lecturer in the Department of International Relations. His most recent book is entitled “Creative Destruction, Crisis, and European Union: The 2008 Crisis within the Framework of the Schumpeterian Approach European Union and Globalization”, “Future of The European Union Integration: A Failure or A Success? Future Expectations” and “Trade Wars of the USA, China and the EU-The Global Economy in the Age of Populism”, The European Union in the Twenty-First Century: Major Political, Economic and Security Policy Trends.
