About

Amanda Paul is a Senior Policy Analyst in the Europe in the World Programme at the European Policy Centre (EPC), a leading Brussels-based think tank. She leads the EPC’s research and activities related to Turkey, Ukraine, security and conflict and resolution in the Black Sea Region and EU foreign policy in its Eastern neighbourhood, including heading the EPC’s “Ukraine’s European Future” and “Global Türkiye” projects.

Amanda Paul is also Senior Associate Research Fellow at the International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) in Kyiv, where she contributes to research related to Ukraine and the broader region, and a Senior Advisor on issues related to the Eurasia region for Stober, Poltavets and Associates a Swedish Consultancy where she has worked on projects related to the Turkish foreign policy, defence and space programmes and Central Asia. Amanda Paul previously worked at the Brussels-based think tank, the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), DG RELEX (European Commission) and the External Relations Department at the German multinational, Henkel.  She has also written ten expert reports for several organisations, including CMI-Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation. Amanda Paul has published widely on her areas of expertise, including books, academic journals, and the media, etc. She has a MA in International Relations from Staffordshire University (UK).
