Assoc. Prof. Murat Tınas

Dr. Murat Tınas works as an Associate Professor at the Turkish National Police Academy. He also works as an academic adviser in several projects organized by the NATO and the EU. Dr. Tınas received his Ph.D. in Area Studies at the Middle East Technical University (2016) and studied Arabic in Jordan during graduate studies and also worked as an affiliate researcher at the Center for Arab and Middle Eastern Studies, American University of Beirut in Lebanon. His major academic interests include the Levantine Politics, radicalization, terrorism in addition to Intelligence Studies as minor area.
