Ryszard Czarnecki – senior Polish politician, former Vice-President of the European Parliament and currently the Chair of the delegation of Russia and Coordinator of the CONT Committee, Member of the Human Rights and Development Committee and the Vice Chair of the Petition Committee. He is also active in Foreign Affairs in the European Parliament. He is a Member of the Central Asia delegation and Arab Peninsula delegation. He was born in the UK, graduate from University of Wroclaw, where he received master degree in history.
He served as Former Minister of the European Affairs, Minister in the Prime Minister Cabinet and the former Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts. Since 2004, he is a member of the European Parliament. He was awarded high state awards by Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia. He holds a Honorary Doctorate from the World Diplomacy University of Uzbekistan and Honorary Professor Nursultan University in Kazakhstan.
Ryszard Czarnecki is the Founder Chair of the EU-Turkiye, EU-Uzbekistan, and EU-Kazakhstan Friendship group. He is actively participates in international conferences as a speaker and writes regularly for international news outlets.
