
Eastern Mediterranean Energy Competition and Cooperation (ISFRound)
Having critical transit routes, the Eastern Mediterranean has become the centre of the global and regional power struggle of geopolitics as geostrategic energy resources discovered in recent years. In addition to the existing energy resources in the region, the recent discovery of new energy basins has increased the importance of the region in the context of international energy policies and has transformed the Eastern Mediterranean into a competitive field of regional and global powers. With the roundtable meeting to be held in this context, it is aimed to discuss the energy competition in the Eastern Mediterranean, to address possible cooperation opportunities and areas of common interest, especially among regional actors.
